Roadway Reconstruction and Related Work along a Section of Tyringham Road in the Town of Lee, Massachusetts
Scope of Services:
The work on this project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 9,789.87 feet (1.854 miles) of Tyringham Road in the Town of Lee, Massachusetts. Construction will include pavement reclamation with a few sections of full-depth reconstruction from the southerly limit at the Lee/Tyringham Town Line northerly to the Goose Pond Brook Bridge. The roadway pavement section will be widened to a uniform width of 22 feet and all work will be generally performed within the existing right-of-way. Drainage improvements include the replacement of existing drop inlets, cross culverts and stone for pipe ends outlet protection. The construction of eighteen gabion retaining walls will provide slope stabilization for new guardrail installation and construction of a drainage swale along the easterly side of the roadway. Improvements will include the reconstruction of the intersection of Tyringham Road and Meadow Street.
